After the franticness of Xmas day, today I didn't feel like anything but watch TV. And everyone knows how shithouse Xmas TV is.
Now, I'm a chronic DVD buyer. There's few things I like better than going into the store and digging through the $10 bin, and coming home with a couple of DVDs that I really want to watch, when I get around to it.
Problem is, between working and uni, I rarely actually get the chance to watch any of the dvds that I buy. So today, I went digging through my shelves, and dragged out Candy. And my sister gave me The Black Dahlia for Christmas. Boxing Day viewing sorted!
Quite liked both the films, even if they were kind of black. More on what I actually thought of them by clicking on the links above.
I'm going to have to get something a bit more upbeat to watch tomorrow I think!
On the plus side, I did sort through my wardrobe and put together two massive bags to put in the charity bin while I was watching! It's amazing, I actually have a whole empty drawer now... that I'll fill up tomorrow after I go shopping at the post-Christmas sales! Lovely!

My Christmas shopping was pretty much done, just had to grab something for my grandparents. Then I got a call from my sisters... were we doing the santa photo this year?
These are the pictures of our preparations. We decided that since I got married this year, and my youngest sister finished school, this year would be the last, so the 'emo' idea we had probably wasn't the best way to go.
We contemplated being pirates, bishops, or just plain silly.
We thought maybe we could be animals, but didn't think the olds would like having us completely unrecognisable.
So we went for the witch/wizard look. I have no idea where our scanner is, so will post the photo once one of the girls scans it in.
But it was fun, and I will kind of miss the yearly stupid Santa photo. But at the same time, it's time to start a new tradition... maybe I can convince the family that we should have fancy dress for Christmas lunch every year??
